We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated medical professional to join our team as a Visiting Medical Specialist (Paediatrics) at the Royal Hobart Hospital and Department of Paediatrics.
About the RoleThis is a fixed-term, part-time day work position, working 8 hours per fortnight, commencing from October 2024 for up to 3 years. The successful applicant will provide clinical services of the highest possible standard to paediatric and adolescent patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical services of the highest possible standard to paediatric and adolescent patients and their families.
- Facilitate the development and delivery of best practice paediatric services to children and adolescents in Tasmania.
- Specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty.
- Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration.
- Desirable: Recognition as a Paediatrician by the completion of FRACP training or equivalent, evidence of participation in MOPS or equivalent.
Competitive hourly rates, commensurate with years of service, and advancement to the Level 4 salary range subject to Schedule 1: Guidelines for Progression to VMS Level 4 in the Tasmanian Visiting Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2019.
