Registered Nurse Position Overview

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a patient-focused ambulatory care environment.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Document all aspects of patient care accurately and promptly, ensuring seamless communication with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Work collaboratively with patients and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Identify and implement effective discharge-planning strategies to ensure smooth transitions for patients.
  • Prioritize tasks and interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust nursing interventions as needed.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Minimum 12 months of recent experience in cancer nursing or an acute care setting.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or willingness to pursue further education.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
