Job Description:

The Construction Delivery Manager plays a pivotal role in the successful execution of construction projects. This involves overseeing project planning, coordinating resources, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

This includes managing timelines, budgets, and quality standards to guarantee project delivery within set parameters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting Project Leads in delivering allocated projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
  • Establishing daily, weekly, and long-term project schedules to achieve desired project outcomes with available plant, labour, materials, and resources
  • Maintaining accurate records of costs, invoices, and claims for assigned projects
  • Contributing to the constructability of projects during design development
  • Evaluating and awarding subcontract procurement packages through a thorough tender process
  • Monitoring the quality and quantity of incoming equipment and materials against specifications, arranging corrections or modifications as needed
  • Analyzing and utilizing document management systems to track project progress and performance, reporting any non-compliances
  • Demonstrating effective people management skills by successfully managing work packages and the performance of Subcontractors and the 'Self-Perform' workforce
  • Liaising and coordinating with external parties and relevant statutory authorities, managing their site attendance as required
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require a strong understanding of engineering principles, project management practices, and regulatory requirements.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction, or a related field is essential, along with a minimum of 5-10 years' experience in a similar role.
