Community-Controlled Healthcare Opportunities

We are seeking skilled professionals to join our multidisciplinary clinical teams in regional Queensland. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide culturally responsive patient consultations and manage chronic disease and preventative health plans for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

About the Role
  • Providing culturally responsive patient consultations

You will work closely with our senior medical officer and be part of a collaborative team environment. Ideal candidates will thrive in this setting and be motivated to drive real outcomes in community-based healthcare.

Requirements
  • Vocationally Registered General Practitioner or equivalent qualifications
  • Unrestricted registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in general practice
  • Exposure to rural, remote, or Aboriginal health settings

You must have a strong understanding of cultural safety principles and proficiency in Medicare billing and patient care planning. You will also need to be able to work independently with a community mindset and have an interest in long-term regional engagement and continuity of care.

Benefits
  • Competitive total remuneration package
  • Base salary up to $390,000 per annum
  • $30,000 superannuation per annum
  • $300 per week vehicle allowance
  • Free furnished housing or $450/week housing allowance (location dependent)
  • Work Incentive Payments (WIP) between $18,000 and $35,000 per year, depending on location

Additional benefits include salary packaging up to $15,900 p.a., relocation assistance up to $10,000, and flexible weekday rostering from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.
