About the Role

This position offers an excellent opportunity to work at the Phosphate Hill mine on 7/7 roster rotating days and nights. As a Diesel Fitter, you will be performing maintenance and repairs on mobile plant equipment in a high-demand mining environment.

You will conduct regular inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting to ensure machinery is operating at optimal efficiency. You will adhere to strict safety protocols while completing tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on mobile plant equipment.
  • Conducting regular inspections and diagnostics to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
  • Working 12 hour days on a 7 day roster with rotating days and nights.
  • Ensuring adherence to strict safety protocols in a high-pressure environment.

Requirements

  • Strong work ethic with ability to work autonomously and as a team.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical/drug & alcohol test.
  • Diesel fitter trade cert with proven experience maintaining plant equipment.
  • Experience on some or all of the below machinery: KOMATSU WA600 LOADERS, WA500 LOADERS, PC300 EXCAVATORS, PC200 EXCAVATORS, PC1250 EXCAVATORS, D65P DOZER, HD785 HAULTRUCKS, ZX470 EXCAVATORS, EX1900 EXCAVATORS; CATERPILLAR 14M GRADER, D9T DOZER; ATLAS COPCO ROCF9 DRILL RIG.
