Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Principal Roads Engineer to lead our transport infrastructure presence in South Australia. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and grow our business, develop local capability, and deliver complex road and highway projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a high-performing Adelaide-based transport team, mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  • Deliver major roads and highways projects from concept to detailed design, leveraging market knowledge and network to help grow our business across South Australia.
  • Provide strategic and technical leadership across multidisciplinary project teams, overseeing project operations including quality assurance, risk mitigation, and cost control.
  • Collaborate with clients, government bodies, and stakeholders to deliver integrated and innovative solutions, championing digital engineering practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong local industry knowledge and established networks in the South Australian transport sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing teams, with proven success in delivering large-scale roads and highways infrastructure projects.
  • Expertise in 12D, AutoCAD, and comprehensive understanding of Austroads and DIT standards.
