Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Waste Depot Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, performing general laboring tasks, conducting site clean-up activities, and operating the weighbridge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality customer service to visitors attending the depot.
  • Perform manual labor tasks, including heavy lifting up to 25kg.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure a safe and clean environment.
  • Operate the weighbridge and perform basic computer operations.
  • Work at various waste depot locations throughout the week.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in waste management, civil construction, landscaping, or general laboring/maintenance is preferred.
  • Holding a WHS White Card is mandatory.
  • A Class C Driver's Licence and proof of Australian residency or citizenship are required.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Display understanding and commitment to WHS principles and practices.
  • Basic computer skills are essential.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Certificate II in Waste Management, Civil Construction, or equivalent experience is advantageous.
  • Possessing an MR or HR Drivers Licence is desirable.
  • Experience operating mobile plant equipment is beneficial.
  • Working with irrigation equipment and/or lawn care equipment is also desirable.
