Electrician Field Service Role

The company is seeking an electrician to conduct preventive and reactive maintenance in battery energy storage environments. The role involves working on inverters, sensor testing, and full life-cycle agreement works.

This is a unique opportunity for individuals with unrestricted electrical licenses to work on cutting-edge battery energy storage solutions. The successful candidate will have the skills and experience to ensure system reliability and contribute to project milestones.

Job Requirements
  • Conduct preventive and reactive maintenance in BESS environments.
  • Work on complete, fully integrated, and flexible energy storage systems.
  • Support the Eraring BESS project components and ensure alignment with project milestones.
Project Overview

The Eraring BESS supports renewable project development by charging during daylight and discharging during peak periods. It utilises existing transmission infrastructure to minimise new construction. The project comprises three stages with a combined capacity of 2.8 GWh, designed to enhance grid stability and renewable integration.

Onboarding and Work Hours
  • Immediate start for successful candidates.
  • Police Check and Pre-Employment Medical.
  • Provide two work references.
  • Work hours: Monday–Friday 10 hours/day; Saturday 6 hours/day; occasional on-call periods.
Benefits
  • Base salary: $84,000
  • Overtime: Available
  • Car allowance: $15,000
  • Leave loading: $1,379.81
  • Superannuation: 11.5%
  • Daily allowance: $140/day for out-of-town overnight assignments
  • Fortnightly pay cycle
  • On-site training provided
