The RoleWe are seeking experienced and passionate Registered Midwives to join our dynamic Maternity Services team at the Kilmore District Hospital campus. The successful candidates will play a key role in providing comprehensive and patient-centered care throughout the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal phases.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality maternity services to expectant low-risk mothers and families in the Kilmore and surrounding region.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and quality improvement within the Maternity Services team.
- Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated experience as a Registered Midwife, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
- Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of current maternity care practices and industry trends.
