Transport Attendant Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Transport Attendant to join our team in Bairnsdale. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and transport non-emergency patients across Victoria and New South Wales.

About the Role
  • Assess patients on-road and provide necessary intervention
  • Deliver dignified and patient-focused care during on-road transport
  • Maintain positive relationships with patients and stakeholders
  • Work independently and problem solve within established policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient patient transport
Requirements
  • Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance), or Bachelor of Health Science (Paramedic), or Bachelor of Nursing (with AHPRA registered nurse registration)
  • Successful completion of required clinical placements and a Clinical Skills Assessment
  • Ability to work 10 and 12-hour shifts across 7 days
  • Capacity to drive in both city and country traffic conditions
  • Compassionate and professional approach to delivering excellent service
  • Compliance with safety screening requirements including a current Full Drivers Licence, State driver history reports, Working with Children's Check, National Police Check, and the right to work in Australia
