Job Title: Community Safety Responders

This role involves working as part of a team to respond to fire and other emergency incidents, promoting community safety through education activities, and developing competencies through regular drills and training courses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to fire and other emergency incidents as a member of a team

  • Operate specialist firefighting equipment in a safe and effective manner
  • Contribute to upkeep and hygiene of station facilities

The Queensland Fire and Emergency Services is seeking individuals to join its team of Community Safety Responders. As a responder, you will be expected to commit to attending emergency incidents and participating in community education activities. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining your competencies through regular drills and training courses.
