We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our vibrant team in delivering safe, efficient, patient-focused care.

About The Role:

This position involves working within a supportive and highly skilled hospital pharmacy team to ensure medication safety and optimal service efficiency. You will be dispensing, preparing, and distributing inpatient medications, dispensing discharge and outpatient prescriptions, and providing medication information and education to patients and healthcare workers.

Our Team:

The pharmacy team endeavours to achieve optimal medication outcomes following the principle of serving every patient every time. We provide clinical pharmacy services to various medical, surgical, and paediatric wards, including the emergency department and intensive care unit.

About You:

We are looking for someone with extensive relevant work experience in pharmacy and pharmacy computer systems, as well as the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. You should be competent in dispensing, non-sterile production and ward distribution.

Requirements:

  • Completed a minimum of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Certificate IV issued by a Registered Training Organisation in Hospital Pharmacy or Community Dispensary or have qualifications deemed by the employer to be equivalent.
