Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional nursing care to emergency patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing diagnostic tests.
- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, surgeries, and treatments, ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates on their pet's condition and treatment plan, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with other members of the veterinary team to ensure a supportive and collaborative work environment.
- Diploma or Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a veterinary nurse, preferably in an emergency or critical care setting
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of veterinary medical procedures
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
