Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Optical Dispenser to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a leading Australian not-for-profit health insurance and healthcare company, we have been serving the community for 90 years.

Our ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer care and leading teams in fast-paced environments. They will support our Location Manager in driving operational excellence and coaching our Eye Care team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can work Tuesday to Saturday, or at least two Saturdays every month.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on optical dispensing and product selection.
  • Lead day-to-day operations and support team development.
  • Ensure flawless service from prescription to fitting.
  • Manage stock, supplier relations, and administration.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Optical Dispenser or equivalent experience.
  • Strong customer service focus and team leadership skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to coach others.
  • Cert IV in Optical Dispensing is a plus (or willingness to complete within 18 months with company support).
