Academic Lecturer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lecturer (Teaching Focused) to join our School of Health Sciences and Social Work at Griffith University. As a Lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, and contributing to the development of our academic programs.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and assess students in a range of health sciences and social work disciplines, including occupational therapy, physiotherapy, exercise and sport, human services, nutrition and dietetics, social work, and speech pathology.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning outcomes and engagement.
- Contribute to the development of academic programs and courses, including curriculum design and review.
- Supervise and mentor students in clinical or university environments.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain expertise in your discipline and teaching practice.
We are looking for a candidate who has a strong commitment to teaching and learning, and who is passionate about delivering high-quality educational experiences to our students. You will have a strong background in one of the disciplines listed above, and experience in teaching and/or supervision in clinical or university environments. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
