Video Content Creator

We are seeking a skilled Video Content Creator to develop engaging video content for our Sydney-based project. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in creating high-quality scripted and unscripted video, as well as a bachelor's degree or similar in Film, Design, Communication, or a related field.

The role involves producing distinctive videos showcasing Sydney city life by combining motion graphics and original video content for our Secret Sydney platforms. This includes visiting various locations throughout the city each week to capture experiential footage, editing a wide range of social media videos, and creating polished final edits with coloring, sound mix, and captions to be published on social channels.

Key requirements for this position include confidence in writing compelling video copy, proficiency in social media content creation, and passion for city life and the topics we cover. Strong understanding of digital media trends is also essential, along with the ability to work independently as part of a team.

Advanced knowledge of Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Media Encoder is required, as well as comfort in creating video and still imagery using digital cameras. Basic motion graphics and titling experience is also necessary, with the ability to create diverse video formats such as cinemagraphs, gifs, and typographical animation.
