Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Urgent Care team. As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with medical practitioners and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients presenting to the Urgent Care service.

  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Provide expert triage services to ensure timely and appropriate management of patient care.
  • Collaborate with medical practitioners to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Perform various clinical procedures, including suturing and plastering.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care activities.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. A minimum of 3 years' experience in acute care settings is preferred, although candidates with relevant experience in emergency departments, remote nursing or ICU will also be considered.

About You:

You will be an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care. You will be available to work evenings and weekends, and possess a current Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
