We are seeking a skilled tradesperson or 4th-year apprentice to join our team.
This role involves supervising and coordinating daily site activities, ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, and team coordination across sites.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities under the Site Manager or Foreman.
- Execute carpentry tasks including structural repairs, timber framing, cladding, and finish work.
- Ensure WHS regulations and site safety protocols are met.
- Maintain accurate site records and contribute to project reporting.
- Support apprentices and labourers with onboarding and mentoring.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for timely material delivery.
- Participate in toolbox talks, site inspections, and incident investigations.
- Monitor and enforce SWMS compliance, directing corrective actions as needed.
- Trade qualification in Carpentry (Cert III or higher).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial or remedial construction preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with QA, Safety, and Environmental systems.
- Proficiency with site management tools and mobile apps.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
