Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Community Care Support Worker to join our team.

The role involves providing person-centred care and support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living and lifestyle requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
  • Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
  • Supporting customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs
  • Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress

Requirements:

  • Australian Federal Police Clearance
  • Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
  • Smartphone with internet access
