The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our electrical team and overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Electrical System Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting, power systems.
- Technical Documentation: Read and update technical diagrams and plans.
- Industrial and Commercial Electrical Maintenance: Perform industrial and commercial electrical maintenance.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Equipment Repair and Replacement: Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
- Regulatory Compliance: Follow National Electrical Code, state, and local building regulations (AS/NZS 3000:2018 Wiring Rules).
- Technical Literacy: Computer and iPad literate.
- Estimation and Project Management: Basic estimation and project management skills.
- Electrician Apprenticeship Completion: Completion of electrician apprenticeship and 'A' grade license.
- Post-Apprenticeship Experience: 2-5 years post-apprenticeship experience working as an electrician.
- Driver's License: Valid manual driver's license.
- White Card: White card.
- Licenses and Certifications: Solar, refrigeration, or data cable license preferred. Police clearance may be required. EWP and working at heights experience preferred.
