About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Comedy Promoter to join our team at Live Nation Australasia Pty Ltd. As a key member of our comedy touring team, you will be responsible for procuring, promoting, and delivering comedy, podcast, and speaker events across Australasia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of secured comedy tour productions, collaborating closely with various teams to ensure quality and stay within budget.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies, working in tandem with our Marketing, Sponsorship, and Ticketing teams.
  • Secure favourable commercial arrangements and find ways to maximise revenue streams through premium ticket sales and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Play a key role in shaping our long-term strategy for growing the comedy genre within the Live Nation Australasia business.
  • Regularly provide updates and forecasts to the SVP of Concerts & Touring, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.

  • Strong background in comedy promotion and an extensive network within the industry.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and excel in navigating tricky scenarios.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a calm demeanour and problem-solving skills.
