Job Title: Year Coordinator

Ravenswood School for Girls is a leading educational institution that values academic excellence, pastoral care, and student wellbeing. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Year Coordinator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the academic, co-curricular, social, and pastoral wellbeing of students in a particular Year group. This will involve developing and implementing positive education and wellbeing programs, as well as serving as the key liaison point for parents of students in the Year group for all academic and wellbeing concerns.

This is a permanent, full-time position that will commence at the beginning of Term 1, 2025. The role will involve a teaching load, and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate their teaching ability in their Key Learning Area (KLA).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement positive education and wellbeing programs for students in the Year group
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students, parents, and staff
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and the wider school community
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Qualification in Education and registration with NESA
  • Proven experience in teaching and leading in a school setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to positive education and wellbeing
