About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at MAC Cosmetics in Launceston. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in the daily operations of the store, driving sales, developing talent, and ensuring excellence in retail operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, and team management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve business objectives.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales consultants to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Provide coaching and training to sales consultants to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including inventory management and stock control.
  • Ensure that the store is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a retail management role, preferably in the cosmetics industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business or related field preferred.
