**Senior Psychiatrist Position Overview**

We are seeking a senior psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary teams in the Ballarat region. As a consultant psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing quality healthcare to regional and rural communities.

The role involves clinical leadership of the team and working closely with other senior members of the clinical leadership team to plan, deliver, and evaluate services and programs to meet the needs of patients and their families.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care and lead a team of clinicians
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health strategies and programs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve service delivery and outcomes

Essential Criteria:

  • Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • FRANZCP or equivalent comparable qualifications in Psychiatry
