Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Storeperson to join our team at the Derrimut Distribution Centre.

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for receiving, handling and dispatching goods in the warehouse and cold storage. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will ensure that our products reach our customers on time and in perfect condition.

Additional responsibilities include operating a forklift with reach experience, unloading vehicles, opening packages and removing contents, checking goods for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices, using computers to obtain details of location and quantity of items in stock, and operating machines to lift, place and remove goods on high levels.

  • Receiving, handling and dispatching goods in the warehouse and cold storage
  • Operating a forklift with reach experience
  • Unloading vehicles, opening packages and removing contents
  • Checking goods for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices
  • Using computers to obtain details of location and quantity of items in stock

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are seeking experienced forklift drivers (with High Reach forklift experience being advantageous), however the role is also open to entry-level applicants, with opportunity to train and develop.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a busy warehouse environment, be physically able to lift and move items up to 25kg, commit to working safely and practicing correct manual handling at all times, and be able to drive a forklift with reach experience.
