System Analyst Job Description

About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled System Analyst to join our team, reporting directly to the Operations Lead. This is a dynamic role that involves working closely with various stakeholders to deliver business value through the effective use of technology.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with organizational processes.
  • Analyze business needs and translate them into technical specifications for our PLM system.
  • Configure and customize the PLM system to meet business requirements and optimize its performance.
  • Support the implementation, integration, and deployment of the PLM system across the organization.
  • Maintain and update the PLM system, including user access controls, workflows, and data models.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for PLM system issues, working closely with IT and vendor support teams.
  • Conduct user training sessions and create documentation to ensure effective utilization of the PLM system.

 

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of PLM software and experience in Cloudis CMPIC or CABCENTRIC would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to actively engage and contribute in a project environment to provide technical SME advice, contribute towards project outcomes, solution designing, 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' mapping activities, lead and support project delivery and 'Transition to Support' activities.
  • Knowledge in electrical cabling and manufacturing workflows.
  • Knowledge in Windows server administration and SQL would be an added advantage.
  • Possess Agile methodology skill sets (Scrum and Kanban) and ability to use BAE toolsets (JIRA/Confluence) to plan and deliver technical changes via Sprint activities.
  • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving and proven time-management skills with focus on good customer service and stakeholder management.
  • Defense security clearance or eligibility to obtain a Baseline clearance.
