We are seeking highly skilled mental health professionals to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with serious mental illness.
Job Description:This role involves undertaking mental, social and physical assessments, treatment and delivering continuing care for patients in an inpatient setting. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care is provided in line with our organisation's values and strategic direction.
As a mental health professional, you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking comprehensive mental, social and physical assessments of patients
- Developing and implementing individualised care plans
- Delivering high-quality care and support to patients
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum two years post-graduate experience in mental health nursing
- Enrolled Nurses must have medication endorsement and IV qualification
- Previous experience in mental health nursing
- Strong understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant registration
- Ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients
- Exceptional customer service and time management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
