  • Position Overview
    As a Personal Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to deliver vital and practical assistance to enable elderly individuals to maintain their independence within their residences, thereby enhancing their overall quality of life. This role necessitates traveling to clients' homes using your own vehicle, for which you will receive reimbursement at a rate of $0.96 per kilometer, in addition to compensated travel time. We are currently seeking Specialist Carers in the Lower Central Coast Region, covering areas such as Gosford, Erina, Kincumber, Terrigal, and Woy Woy. Your caregiving duties may encompass:
    • Delivering personal assistance, including support with bathing and dressing
    • Assisting with household tasks, such as meal preparation and light cleaning
    • Providing transportation for appointments and aiding with shopping
    • Supporting medication management
Candidate Profile
  • You possess strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating patience and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Previous experience in aged or community care is advantageous, though we welcome individuals eager to embark on a career in this field.
  • A valid Driver's License and access to a reliable, insured vehicle (minimum Third Party Property Insurance) are essential.
  • While a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is preferred, we are willing to assist those seeking to obtain this qualification.
  • Flexibility in accommodating the evolving needs of home care clients is crucial.
