Workshop Specialist

The role of Workshop Specialist offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of complex mechanical issues, providing high-quality trades skills to ensure equipment is maintained, repaired and serviced.

As a key member of our Service Department at Wacol, you will work alongside a team of highly skilled mechanical specialists who share a passion for safety, quality and building a positive work culture.

Our ideal candidate will possess a high level of mechanical aptitude, a relevant trade certificate and prior experience working with the Komatsu fleet of machinery. They will be motivated, self-sufficient and have a fantastic working attitude to complement our existing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and repair tasks on complex mechanical equipment
  • Provide high-quality trades skills to ensure equipment is maintained and serviced
  • Offer aftermarket support to existing and new customers

Requirements:

  • High level of mechanical aptitude
  • Australian recognised and relevant trade certificate
  • Prior experience working with the Komatsu fleet of machinery (ideally)
