Utility Project Development Specialist

We're a global leader in renewable energy solutions, committed to driving sustainable power adoption. We're expanding our Utility Project Division by delivering innovative, large-scale solar and energy storage projects that align with Australia's renewable energy goals.

This role involves developing and implementing customized PV racking solutions for utility-scale projects while adhering to industry standards and local regulations. You'll provide innovative and cost-effective solutions, contributing to our success in winning new projects and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to understand project needs, goals, and timelines.
  • Support sales teams by providing technical expertise and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Solution Design and Engineering
  • Provide technical support, solution design, and project quotations.
  • Execution Support
  • Conduct regular site inspections during installation to verify correct installation and adherence to design plans.
  • Industry Innovation
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the solar industry.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years working on Solar PV Projects, EPC companies, or independent engineering firms reviewing Solar PV Project-related mechanical structures.
    • Proven experience in developing and implementing technical solutions for large-scale projects, including project management and customer-facing responsibilities.
  • Skills:
    • Advanced Excel for data analysis, coordinating projects, and reporting.
    • Detailed understanding of Solution Design & Engineering principles.
    • Proficiency in project management tools.
