About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Financial Institutions team in Melbourne and Sydney offices. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining credit ratings on high-profile financial institutions in Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and critically analyze economic, financial, and budget information to support credit rating decisions.
  • Maintain spreadsheets, databases, and cash flow models to ensure accurate and timely analysis.
  • Work closely with senior analysts to prepare materials for rating committees and publications.
  • Meet and confidently interact with C-suite level executives to gather information and provide insights.
  • Demonstrate service excellence when dealing with external and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in macroeconomic or financial analysis.
  • Background in credit analysis and research or equity research.
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, business, or similar fields.
  • CFA certification is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact confidently with clients.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ability to manipulate large datasets, cash flow, and credit models.
  • Strong work ethic and capacity to work well both independently and as part of a team.
