We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications and Web Publishing Officer to join our small but energetic Communications and Media team. As a Senior Communications and Web Publishing Officer, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to manage and update our intranet and external web presence. You will be responsible for creating engaging, accurate, and accessible content that meets the needs of our diverse audience.
Key Responsibilities- Content Management: Manage and update intranets, including publishing content, creating new pages, and supporting other users.
- Web Content Publishing: Format and produce web content drafts in SharePoint and Sitecore.
- Collaboration: Assist with the drafting and publishing of web content in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Job Queue Management: Manage the web publishing job queue and triage incoming requests via the shared team inbox.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively engage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Document lessons learned and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Expertise: Proven experience in SharePoint and other content management systems like Sitecore.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to write and edit content for a range of audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail with strong proofreading and editing skills.
- Collaboration: The ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment, contributing to a positive, engaged culture.
- Qualifications: A relevant tertiary qualification in communications or a related field.
- Australian Citizenship: Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain a baseline clearance essential.
