Key Responsibilities

As a Business Transformation Specialist at Macquarie, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of key strategic projects for the Risk Management Group. Your primary focus will be on working closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems.

Initially aligned to the Operational Risk team, you will leverage your prior experience in producing detailed process maps to document established processes, develop future state processes, and work closely with technical teams to develop a supporting workflow solution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the delivery of key strategic projects for the Risk Management Group
  • Working closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems
  • Developing and maintaining detailed process maps to document established processes and develop future state processes
  • Collaborating with technical teams to develop a supporting workflow solution
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years' experience as a business analyst in the financial services industry, ideally with experience of delivering projects involving policy, process, and workflow changes
  • Excellent analytical capability supported by clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work efficiently with stakeholders
  • Thrive in an environment with evolving priorities and changing needs of the business
  • A working knowledge and exposure to Operational Risk Management will be highly regarded

The Risk Management Group is an independent and centralized function responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring, and reporting in relation to Macquarie's material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
