Turf Management Position

Our organization is seeking a skilled Turf Manager to oversee the maintenance and enhancement of our turf areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring these areas remain lush, healthy, and resilient.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and enhance turf areas through regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, aerating, and topdressing.
  • Monitor turf health and address issues such as pests, diseases, and compaction through cultural and chemical practices.
  • Implement sustainable turf management practices including water conservation strategies and pest management techniques.
  • Operate and maintain specialized turf equipment and machinery for optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with the landscaping team to coordinate maintenance schedules and deliver exceptional results.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their expectations and provide turf care recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Certificate III in Sports Turf Management is mandatory.
  • Cricket Wicket experience is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in turf management, greenkeeping, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of turfgrass species, growth habits, and maintenance requirements is essential.
  • Familiarity with turf care equipment and machinery is required.
