We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatrician to join our team at the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality clinical care to children and babies, ensuring best practice standards are met.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of paediatric services, working collaboratively with the Medical team.
- Engage in quality improvement and organisational accreditation activities, evaluating services and implementing changes based on evidence.
- Support and expand the scope of clinical maternity services at Port Augusta hospital, maximising level 3 maternity service provision to Whyalla community.
- Be involved in the after-hours roster and contribute to clinical review quality assurance programs.
- Assist in the supervision, training, and performance development of Trainee Medical Officers and students.
- Provide outreach outpatient services to northern country hospitals.
- FRACP and eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia in general paediatrics and child health.
- Strong clinical skills and experience in paediatric medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Total Indicative Remuneration: $359,094 - $608,425 (Subject to Private Practice Arrangements)
- Managerial allowance, remote call allowance, professional development, A&R Allowance, Super, Private Practice Arrangements if applicable
