About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Capricornia Correctional Centre. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will provide high-quality psychological services to adults accommodated in the centre, including assessment, case management, and interventions that promote mental health, well-being, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide evidence-based assessment and intervention for adults experiencing difficulties related to suicidality, mental health problems, cognitive impairment, or developmental disorders.
  2. Develop and implement effective treatment plans to promote positive rehabilitative outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to clients.
  4. Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of treatment plans.

Requirements
  1. Eligible for registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  2. Provisional Psychologists must be either currently on the 4+2 internship pathway or have completed an APAC-accredited 5th year degree in psychology and be eligible for the 5+1 internship pathway.
