  • As a Direct Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting with daily tasks, developing personalized support plans, and helping individuals achieve their goals.
  • We're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and support, and has experience working with vulnerable populations.
  • Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
    • Providing support with personal care, including showering, toileting, dressing, and more.
    • Assisting with medication administration and managing medical conditions.
    • Helping individuals with mobility and transferring using hoists and slide sheets.
    • Performing domestic duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
    • Accompanying individuals to appointments, social events, and recreational activities.

What We're Looking For:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience working with high care needs and challenging behaviors.
  • Experience administering medications and diabetes training is highly desirable.
  • An ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A calm and confident demeanor, with a focus on providing person-centered care.
  • A commitment to professional boundaries and infection control measures.
