Key Roles and Responsibilities

The Warehouse Team Member has a crucial role in ensuring the efficient transportation of products from the warehouse to the sales floor. This position involves constant handling of merchandise that varies in weight from light to heavy throughout the shift.

Primary Duties:

  • Stock shelves and merchandise display areas neatly and safely, maintaining inventory accuracy and identifying low stock levels.
  • Complete necessary paperwork daily and ensure retail tasks are executed efficiently, including stocking, labeling, facing, and cleaning areas.
  • Ensure product and overstock are placed in appropriate locations, report stolen and damaged goods to management, and assist with pricing and verifying price labels as needed.
  • Dispose of garbage and cardboard, greet, assist, and thank customers in a friendly manner, and maintain compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Requirements and Skills

  • No prior experience is required; we provide all necessary training.
  • Ability to work varied shifts (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays) and handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using ladders, twisting, turning, and reaching.
  • Strong computer and organizational skills, result-oriented, and ability to find solutions to problems, adapt, and cope with challenging situations, making decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask, with certification in forklift and/or skyjack (scissor lift) being an asset, and a high-school diploma or equivalent.
