Construction Claims Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction claims professional to join our team. This exciting opportunity will see you providing clients with proactive and strategic advice on navigating their claims process.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office. As a Construction claims professional, you will be responsible for providing clients with coverage and claims strategy advice on complex issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clients with proactive and strategic advice on claims preparation and strategy.
  • Identify appropriate policies and coverage's on less complex issues and analyse notifications against the same to provide solutions to clients.
  • Facilitate claims processes for clients with supervision to ensure progress from notification through to closure.
  • Monitor insurer responses and engage with insurers and their professional advisers on less complex issues to support smooth review of claims for clients.
  • Draft communication documents for clients, such as correspondence letters, claims calculations and reviews documents prepared by clients.
  • Provide claims related data such as loss statistics, key trends, cost reduction opportunities and other data to assist development of action plans to manage client's total cost of risk.
Requirements
  • A high level of experience across construction insurance policies/claims including but not limited to contract works, industrial special risk, and liability claims.
  • Good level of experience across Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong technical knowledge around construction claims.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to act proactively to drive relationships and manage a range of stakeholders with a clear customer focus.
  • Mature outlook and strength of character to discuss complex issues with senior leaders and carry out meetings with confidence.
