Job Overview

This is an opportunity to contribute to creating Pathways to better health for our communities in North West Queensland.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Allied Health Assistant to work in the Allied Health Department at the North West Hospital and Health Service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical support to staff in the department.
  • Work under supervision, providing defined treatments as prescribed.
  • Contribute to patient records and assist with preparation of assessment and treatment processes.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary degree qualification and registration/licences.
  • Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent qualifications would be highly desirable.
  • A valid motor vehicle licence is required.

You will have opportunities to develop your skills through training and mentoring programs.
