Information Security Manager

The role of Information Security Manager is a critical one, as it involves developing and implementing strategies to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring that all security measures are adequate and compliant with relevant regulations.

  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive security framework that encompasses all aspects of risk management.
  • Collaborating with technical teams to establish necessary measures to ensure the continued confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.
  • Implementing programs of work as agreed with senior leadership to deliver required security frameworks, such as ISO 27001, IT General Controls, and GDPR.
  • Managing and coordinating Canon's information security management system (ISMS) to ensure a consistent corporate approach that includes risk minimisation and detection and management of security breaches.
  • Assisting operational teams with the development of security monitoring and incident reporting programs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Demonstrated skills and experience in customer service environments.
  • Background and technical experience in infrastructure support environments.
  • Ability to work under limited direction and in a professional manner.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service and process/service improvement.
  • Extensive experience managing customer, vendor, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven track record of delivering across complex programs involving cross-functional teams.
  • Experience and certification in IT Service Management (ITSM).
