We are currently seeking a Youth Access Clinician to become an integral part of our expanding team.

This role offers a Permanent Full-time opportunity, with a standard workweek from Monday to Friday, featuring flexible hours on certain days.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish and nurture effective relationships with young individuals, their families, and local service providers. Conduct assessments, develop case plans, and provide therapeutic and psychoeducational interventions as well as care coordination for youth and their families. Collaborate in the development and facilitation of psychoeducational and therapeutic group programs. Assist young people in accessing necessary services through consultation and coordination with both internal and external providers, in line with documented care plans. Engage in community and youth outreach initiatives, events, and promotional activities. Utilize initiative and sound judgment, under the guidance of the Clinical Lead, to enhance the experiences of young individuals and improve service offerings.

Qualifications:

A degree in psychology (provisional or registered), social work, occupational therapy, or nursing, with appropriate registration as required. Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks, work autonomously, and seek guidance when necessary. Demonstrated understanding of youth health issues and their implications for young people. Experience in mental health assessment, psychoeducation, and the provision of therapeutic interventions (placement experience is acceptable). Cultural awareness and the ability to provide services that are sensitive to diverse backgrounds. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for building effective relationships with youth, families, and key stakeholders. A solid understanding of privacy laws, informed consent principles, confidentiality limits, and mandatory reporting requirements. A valid driver's license.
