We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our cardiac ward team at Gold Coast Private Hospital, a 339-bed facility located in Southport. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting Patients: Provide emotional support and care to patients and their families, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Monitoring Patients: Conduct regular checks on patients on Telemetry, monitoring their vital signs and responding to any changes or concerns.
- Liaising with the Multi-Disciplinary Team: Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, therapists, and other nurses, to ensure seamless care and coordination.
- Ensuring Patient and Staff Safety: Identify and mitigate potential risks to patients and staff, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Assisting Nursing Staff: Provide support to nursing staff with patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and maintaining patient records.
- Experience: A minimum of 12 months experience as an Enrolled Nurse in an acute hospital setting.
- Registration: Current Registration with AHPRA.
- Skills: Experience with Telemetry, sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work well independently and within a team.
