Job Summary:
BaptistCare is seeking a skilled Handyperson/Gardener to join our Home Modifications team in the Sydney Metro/Greater Sydney West Region.
About the Role:
This full-time position involves providing timely and quality maintenance and modification services to residential properties of the aged and their carers. The successful candidate will possess a range of handyperson and gardening skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Managing minor home maintenance and modifications
- Providing lawn mowing and gardening services as required
- Completing jobs in a set timeframe with limited supervision
- Working in an aged care environment and interacting with clients and their carers
Requirements:
- General home maintenance/repair skills
- Previous hands-on experience in lawn mowing and gardening
- A trade qualification or background in building maintenance/carpentry is preferred
- A current driver licence
- Ability to take on physically demanding tasks
