We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Darra, QLD. This role requires the ability to load, unload, receive, relocate and store products with accuracy. The successful candidate will also need to follow warehouse traffic management plans and perform manual picking and packing tasks when required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading products from vehicles and storing them accurately;
  • Following warehouse traffic management plans to ensure efficient operations;
  • Performing manual picking and packing tasks as required;
  • Inspecting and performing minor maintenance on machinery;
  • Complying with legislated and company WH&S systems;
  • Liaising professionally and politely with stakeholders;
  • Achieving accurate attention to detail when processing information and data;
  • Undertaking additional duties as required.

Requirements

  • Current forklift ticket with a minimum of 3 years of operational experience;
  • Side-loader experience is highly regarded;
  • Strong working knowledge of WH&S legislation;
  • Previous experience loading trucks with product is highly valued;
  • Demonstrated attention to detail with effective written and verbal communication skills;
  • Collaborative interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF Scanners is desirable;
  • Familiarity with timber warehouse operations is desirable;
  • Evidenced reliability and professionalism.
