Job Title: OKTA Lead Solution Architect

We are seeking a skilled and experienced OKTA Lead Solution Architect to lead our organization's identity and access management (IAM) strategy. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure authentication flows, identity governance policies, and access control systems using Okta.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IAM, with at least 3 years of experience focused on Okta and CIAM. They should also have hands-on experience with Okta workflows, APIs, and integration tools, as well as knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.

The successful candidate will work closely with product, engineering, and security teams to align CIAM capabilities with business goals. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining technical documentation, monitoring performance and availability, and staying current with Okta product updates and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • 12+ years of experience in IAM, with at least 3+ years focused on Okta and CIAM
  • Hands-on experience with Okta workflows, APIs, and integration tools
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
  • Experience with authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Okta Certified Professional or Architect
  • Experience with other IAM tools (e.g., Oracle Directory Server, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, Microsoft Entra ID)
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead the architecture of the Okta platform across the enterprise
  • Manage and optimize identity lifecycle processes
  • Drive incident response and proactive issue resolution within the IAM domain
  • Integrate Okta with systems such as Active Directory, Azure AD, ServiceNow, Workday, and other SaaS/on-prem applications
  • Define and enforce security policies, authentication flows, and access governance using Okta features
