Weight Operator Position

We are looking for a professional to contribute to environmental sustainability by operating weighbridges and gatehouse facilities at waste transfer stations.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Operating weighbridges and gatehouse facilities in accordance with adopted waste management and environmental policies.
  • Preparing basic reports, including data collection for reporting purposes;
  • Performing duties related to the opening and closing of the facility, weighbridge and gatehouse, including site security.

To be successful in this position, you will have demonstrated knowledge of waste management and environment policies as related to waste facilities. You will also possess strong customer service experience and the ability to perform efficient and accurate financial transactions.

A current driver's license is required, and you must be available to work at various locations consistent with certified agreement and organisational requirements.
