Speech Pathologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team on a full-time, permanent basis.

About the Role
  • Deliver high-quality clinical services to adults with congenital, developmental, and acquired disorders of swallowing and communication.
  • Manage dysphagia and communication impairments in adults.
  • Collaborate with NDIS participants and support clients with complex communication needs.

This role is part of a multidisciplinary team delivering community-based services across various funding models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage complex swallowing and communication impairments.
  • Support clients in the use of alternative and augmentative communication devices.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, support coordinators, and other health professionals.
  • Deliver individualised speech pathology assessment, diagnosis, and intervention.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and quality improvement activities.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia and eligibility for a Medicare provider number.
  • Current Blue Card, Disability Worker Screening Card, and National Police Check.
  • Minimum two years of speech pathology experience, including work with NDIS participants with complex developmental and/or acquired communication disorders.
