English Language Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and committed teacher to join our team as an English Language educator. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and creating engaging learning environments that foster student growth and achievement.

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong teaching skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of contemporary pedagogies.
  • They will also demonstrate a commitment to pastoral care, meeting the social and emotional wellbeing needs of students, and promoting a love for reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

About the Role:

This full-time, ongoing position commences Term 1, 2025. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans, assess student progress, and provide feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To teach VCE English Language classes to students at varying levels of proficiency
  2. To plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and needs
  3. To assess student progress, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies for support
  4. To communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students through various mediums

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will hold relevant qualifications, including a bachelor's degree in education or a related field, and current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration. They will also have extensive experience in teaching VCE English Language and a proven track record of success in improving student outcomes.
