At the heart of our retail and shopping centre operations lies a critical role that requires vision, leadership, and technical expertise. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of a major Sydney metropolitan shopping centre, comprising over 70 specialty stores anchored by Woolworths.

This is a challenging yet rewarding position that demands proactive supervision of maintenance activities, capital works, and security to ensure the centre operates at its optimum level while prioritising the health and safety of visitors and occupants.

Key responsibilities include supervising contractors to create a suitable environment for staff, visitors, and tenants, communicating with tenants to gain insights and address operational issues promptly, and undertaking regular inspections to identify potential risks and implement risk management plans.

Strong WHS and risk management skills are essential for this role, as well as relevant experience in property, facilities management, or operations management in a retail or shopping centre environment.
